Trail Riding
Our horses are nurtured on a working farm
around cattle and on occasion are used to drive them. We enjoy training
the Fox Trotters as they are pleasurable to work with and be around. As a
general rule, they are intelligent and eager to please. Our daughter has
even used a Fox Trotter for barrel racing in addition to our usual pleasure and
trail riding. The stamina and versatility of the breed is admirable.
Trail riding has always been a wonderful
family experience for us. Camping and riding with kids and friends is
relaxing and enjoyable. Our grandson started riding on one of our
four-year-old Fox Trotters with his mom on the trail for hours at only five
months old -- an awesome and rewarding experience! That is one memory we
will cherish for a lifetime. |
